  • Stretching & Surf Specific Exercises

  • Ocean Safety Education

  • Beach Activities like beach volleyball with a profession-grade net, kickball, beach flags, soccer, relay races, sand castle building contests, environmental sustainability & beach cleanups, lifeguard training, and much more! (for when the waves aren’t pumping)

CLUB LEVELS

All skill levels are encouraged, although there are designated tiers depending on skill level.

BEGGINERS - INTERMEDIATE

We understand that the ocean can be intimidating so with our beginner students we focus on getting them comfortable in the water before getting them on a board. Once the student has a basic understanding of how to safely navigate the ocean, we will provide them with a detailed Pop-Up drill on land before getting out in the water and putting what we’ve learned into action. First time surfers are encouraged to take one or two private lessons so that they are comfortable in the water before joining the surf club collective.

First Time Surfers: one-on-one instruction

Intermediate: two-on-one instruction depending on age & previous water experience

ADVANCED

As a returning surfer, we expect students to have an understanding of the water but any level surfer is still prone to fall, wipeout, and take a nosedive. We encourage young surfers to get back up and better themselves in the water every day. They will surf the majority of the time to really hone in on their surf skills because we all know practice makes perfect.
